Fast forward to 2024, and content still continues to reign supremacy in every professional arena. Today, let’s delve into the land of independent music artists and explore why content creation will be their key to success.
All over the world, we are witnessing a surge in the emergence of independent artists, offering a boon to music enthusiasts. A 2023 report by Luminate, revealed a staggering 120,000 new tracks released daily on music streaming platforms like Spotify, SoundCloud, Apple Music, and Amazon Music. Each one of them are recognizing the potency of their music as content and are building strategies to cut through the crowd and reach the listeners.
Given this intense competition, how can artists cut through the noise? The answer lies in leveraging content, not just in terms of music but also as a tool to shape visual identity, fuel social media promotions, and, most importantly, build a dedicated fanbase.
