Music Review: Emma Dilemma’s “Bed All Day”
Emma Dilemma’s new single ‘Bed All Day’ takes a very interesting take on life and is playfully crafted with a ton of humor. The artist has taken efforts to keep the listeners hooked throughout the song and the lyrics keep you curious to know what’s coming next.
Arrangement and production
The production style of the track with an element of fuzz and distorted vocal treatment gives it an interesting soundscape.
The song has been produced with a good amount of fuzzy elements. It definitely blends in very well with the track. Although, towards midpoint, it feels a bit too much. But, that’s where the magic happens. The mix throws in some sauce by going into a mid frequency band filter mode, almost like coming from a speaker! And, then the fuzzy guitar leads come in to further elevate the track to new highs.
Songwriting and vocal performance
The artist has this unique take on life and has presented it on a lighter note, which demanded a songwriting style which would rely on a hook or melody that will stick. And, the chorus of the song does stick in the head quite strongly the moment you hear it. The vocal performance is just right and justifies the style.
