In the middle of a challenging career transition, I stumbled upon an impactful Bollywood movie titled “12th Fail,” which released on October 27 last year. This cinematic gem not only provided a refreshing break but also became a source of newfound hope and inspiration for me.

What is “12th Fail” about?

“12th Fail” is about the inspiring story of a young boy from Chambal, a small village in India. Ironically, coming from a village known for robbery and treachery, he aspires to become an honest police officer. Failing in his high school (12th grade in India), he sets his sights on becoming a Civil Services officer.

Based on a true story, the movie represents the struggles faced by countless UPSC students, depicting their unwavering commitment to overcoming obstacles and succeeding against the odds.

Life Lessons “12th Fail” offers

The true essence of “12th Fail” lies in the lessons it imparts. My key takeaway were 3Ps — Perseverance, Patience and Positive mindset.

1.Perseverance
